E-PDP guarantees the protection of all personal data provided via this webpage(www.e-pdp.eu) in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU)2016/679(hereinafter, GDPR) and the Spanish Organic Law of Data Protection (Ley Orgánica de Protección de Datos y Garantia de los Derechos Digitales) which aims to adapt the Spanish legal system to the GDPR.

You will be attributed with the status of User by accessing and or using this E-PDP webpage. Personal data will be incorporated in a digital file created and maintained under the responsibility of E-PDP.

Visiting this webpage does not imply that you are providing personal data. E-PDP may have personal data you provide to us by telephone, email, via the online form that E-PDP puts at your disposal and information you provide to us at conferences. You, the user, will be liable in all cases for the truthfulness of the data provided. E-PDP reserves the right to refuse to provide services to all Users who have provided false information, in addition to other actions which may be taken in accordance with the law.

 

Legal basis for processing your data

We will only collect personal data when we have a legal basis. Legal basis includes consent (pre) contractual relationship, compliance with a legal obligation, and legitimate interests. We only process data which is necessary for maintaining the business relationship.

 

Purpose

Commercial and administrative management, permitting contact with E-PDP, answering user enquiries, or for the purpose of interaction in social networks or any other purpose required or permitted by the applicable regulations or for which you have given your consent.

 

Retention Period

We comply with the legal obligation to limit as much as possible the retention period. Personal data will be kept during the period in which the business relationship exists or during the period of time necessary to comply with legal obligations (e.g. tax regulations require E-PDP to keep the data included in accounting documentation and invoices until our liabilities have lapsed) & can only be released and processed again for this reason. Once this period has elapsed, data will be permanently erased or if data is processed on the basis of consent, until consent is revoked.

 

Who do we share your data with?

E-PDP does not share your data with third parties without your permission except auditors and professional consultants (like accountants) and in cases where there is a legal obligation to do so (e.g. Tax Office) or when it is necessary to comply with the service contracted. We only work with third parties who can guarantee compliance with GDPR. E-PDP has installed the appropriate technical and organizational security measures in accordance with the requirements of GDPR. However, despite the diligent implementation of such measures, you, the user, should know that security measures on the Internet are not impregnable.

 

International Data Transfers

Our website is hosted by Bluehost (the Endurance International Group, Inc.) and built, published and maintained via WordPress (Automattic, Inc.) so your personal data will be transferred to, stored, or processed in the United States. Your rights

You have the right, at any time, to exercise your rights of access to the personal data E-PDP holds about you (including obtaining a copy), right to rectify inaccurate or incomplete data, right to erasure (unless there is an overriding legal motive obligating E-PDP to keep it), right to object to your data being processed & subjected to automated individual decision-making (we don’t make use of this) including profiling, right to restrict processing, right of data portability when you want your data transferred to another controller in addition to the right to withdraw your consent at any time, for any of the reasons specified in this privacy policy.

 

How can you exercise your rights?

At any time by writing to E-PDP c/Berlin 38-48, pl. 5  (08029) Barcelona or by sending an email to  info@e-pdp.eu with your contact details clearly specified, the request made, and attaching a photocopy of DNI/NIE or equivalent document accrediting your ID, or a digital signature. If you are exercising these rights via a representative please include the document proving representation.

Exercising these rights does not affect in any way your right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
